We’re back! After an incredible turnout last year, @innerpace_runclub, @fluffysmtl & FOM are making the Filipino Heritage Month Run bigger and better for Year 2.

Sunday, June 7
9am kick-off: Walk 1.5km | Run 2.5km or 6km
Post-run: A full day community celebration at Fluffy’s (more details to come!)

Last year proved what happens when we move, celebrate, and show up together. This year? We’re bringing even more energy with a full day event.

Friends, family, neighbours, titas, titos... you know how it goes, everyone’s invited! We hope to see you June 7th!

For Mother’s Day, we’ve created a special Cinnamon Ginger Latte, available for a limited time, warm, comforting, and made with love 🌷

We’ve also prepared a few extra treats for the occasion. Quantities are limited, but the intention behind them isn’t.

En ce moment, on a deux options sans gluten au menu :

🍫 Un muffin aux pépites de chocolat avec noix (sans arachides ni amandes).
🍩 Nos populaires mochi beignes créés par Riney.

Le glaçage des mochis change chaque mois, en avril c’était bleuet, et pour mai, ce sera un glaçage chai 👀✨

Si vous avez d’autres idées de pâtisseries sans gluten qu’on devrait essayer, on est vraiment ouverts aux suggestions.

Right now, we’ve got two gluten-free treats on the menu:

🍫 A chocolate chip muffin with nuts (no peanuts, no almonds).
🍩 Our fan-favourite Mochi Doughnuts, created by Riney.

The mochi glaze changes every month, in April it was blueberry, and for May we’re going with a chai glaze 👀✨

If there are other gluten-free pastries you’d love to see, we’re all ears.
I’ve heard gluten-free brownies are a thing… should we? 🤔

On a nos brioches à la cannelle bien moelleuses et juteuses 🤤

Et bien sûr, notre pain aux bananes…juste parfait.

Quand il n’y en a plus, on le remplace par notre cake au citron 🍋

L’événement de samedi le 28 Mars avec FOM (Filipinos of Montreal) était honnêtement incroyable. Toute l’équipe de Fluffy’s était super heureuse de vous accueillir, ça ressemblait vraiment à un gros rassemblement familial.

Même si on était hyper concentrés à préparer les cafés et servir nos fameux beignes, on a quand même réussi à jaser un peu avec plusieurs d’entre vous et ça, ça compte toujours beaucoup pour nous.

C’est certain que ce ne sera pas le dernier événement FOM chez nous.

L’ambiance a aussi été amplifiée par les grains “Buhay” de Grant. Il vient tout juste de lancer sa compagnie de torréfaction, mais il a clairement un bel avenir dans le monde du café. Merci encore d’avoir été notre fournisseur de café pour la journée 🙏🏼

Gros shoutout à Greg aussi pour cette vidéo incroyable 😭🫰🏼 Ce ne sera définitivement pas notre dernière collaboration.

On aimerait vraiment continuer à accueillir ce genre d’événements avec d’autres organisateurs aussi, on a l’espace pour ça. Alors si ça vous parle, on est à un DM près.

Saturday March 28th with FOM (Filipinos of Montreal) was honestly such a beautiful moment. The whole team at Fluffy’s was beyond excited to host, it genuinely felt like one big family gathering.

Even though we were locked in making drinks and serving our notorious donuts, we still managed to sneak in little chats with some of you, which always means a lot to us.

Safe to say: this won’t be the last FOM event we host.

The whole experience was amplified by Grant’s “Buhay” beans. He just launched his roasting company, but trust us — he’s got a bright future in the coffee world. Thank you for supplying the beans that day 🙏🏼

And special shoutout to Greg for absolutely cooking with this video 😭🫰🏼 Definitely not our last collaboration either.

We’d love to keep hosting events like this with other organizers too, we’ve got the space for it 😉. So if you’re thinking about putting something together, we’re literally one DM away.
