Here in Sweden, NATO Allies are strengthening our support for Ukraine and we are drawing up a new wave of sanctions to maintain the military and economic pressure on Russia.

That’s why girls’ education is not just about classrooms, it’s about safety, freedom and possibility.

I’m working with @GPforEducation, and had the chance to talk to the Foreign Secretary @yvettecooper.mp and the @foreignanddevelopmentoffice about why it’s so important for governments to invest in education globally, so more girls have the support, teachers and opportunities they need to thrive.

On Iran, we agreed there must be free and safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Iran must stop holding the global economy hostage.

We need a sustainable agreement that brings regional stability and addresses Iran’s nuclear programme. Iran can never be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

We discuss three critical reasons why forging global partnerships has never been more important. We talk about how technology and AI are growing rapidly, and developing countries need affordable access to compete. We explore how the global healthcare system is fragmented and duplicated, requiring structural redesign rather than more funding for single diseases. Finally, we highlight how over 1.5 billion people have been lifted out of extreme poverty, and share how the UK’s new 40 million pound fund is putting capital directly into local tech and leadership to accelerate progress further.
