Twenty years ago, Kiyan Prince, a football prodigy, tragically died after being stabbed at the age of 15 whilst trying to prevent another child from being bullied.

Fifteen years later, we were honored to collaborate with ENGINE Creative on Long Live the Prince, a groundbreaking campaign created to celebrate Kiyan’s life, legacy and unrealized future, while driving awareness around youth violence and knife crime prevention. Created for FIFA 21, the project reimagined Kiyan as the professional footballer he might have become at age 30, introducing him as a playable character for his former football club, the Queens Park Rangers. Using a pre-trained neural network, our team tailored a bespoke Deep Fake model to accurately translate human facial performance into a digital representation of Kiyan, honoring him with authenticity, dignity, and care.

Today, the work continues through The Kiyan Prince Foundation and its newly launched Champions’ Club initiative, led by Kiyan’s father, Dr Mark Prince OBE, whose tireless advocacy has helped steer countless young people away from violence and toward opportunity.

@framestore visual effects supervisor Graham Page explains how more than 50 sheep — from Border Leicesters and Devon Longwools to Shetlands — went through a surprising ‘sheep bootcamp’ before stepping into a ring of cameras used to create the film’s CGI flock.

Utilizing Cosm’s state-of-the-art 87-foot diameter LED domes and proprietary full-dome filmmaking technology, we delivered 22 minutes of immersive content across 11 sequences and eight iconic environments, including Platform 9¾, the Hogwarts Express, and the Leaky Cauldron, all in 12k.
