Heureux de voir la publication de mon dernier livre, '' Myanmar, the last stand " (avec Kwong-Shing Lau), et l'expo qui l'accompagne occasionner des événements sur la situation en Birmanie (ici à Taïwan). Heureux aussi de voir quelqu'un porter le t-shirt que portait Kyal Sin le jour où elle a été abattue. On me parle aussi de l'enthousiasme d'un(e) responsable de la Milk Tea Alliance et d'un même enthousiasme à Chiang Mai (Thaïlande), où se trouvent de nombreux activistes pro-démocratie de Birmanie. ❤️

Soyons clair : ce que la loi Yadan veut interdire, c'est qu'on puisse critiquer les violations des droits humains et du droit international commises par Israël. C'est que l'on ne puisse plus parler de cet enfant sans être accusé d'antisémitisme. La France deviendrait ainsi le premier pays au monde où critiquer Israël serait interdit. C'est une atteinte à nos droits démocratiques. Nous sommes prêts de 600 000 à avoir dit non à ce projet de loi sur le site de l'Assemblée nationale en seulement quelques jours. N'importe quel citoyen qui comprend ce qu'est la démocratie et n'admet pas les atteintes aux droits humains devrait nous rejoindre ici : https://petitions.assemblee-nationale.fr/initiatives/i-5158

Soyons clairs : victoire aujourd'hui (pour la minorité que ça intéresse) mais il y a encore en France beaucoup trop de policiers qui devraient être démis de leurs fonctions, jugés et lourdement condamnés, trop de cas où la justice française se fait la complice et la protectrice des crimes racistes commis par des policiers français, trop d'indifférence de la partie de la population française qui n'est pas exposée au harcèlement policier à caractère raciste et aux violences policières à caractère raciste, trop d'assentiment et même d'encouragement à ces violences par nos responsables politiques à commencer par certains qui sont ou ont été aux affaires et trop de contributeurs au débat public qui diffament les victimes plutôt que les coupables. En d'autres termes, on est encore loin du compte. Il faut pourtant que soit mis un terme à ces situations qui devraient susciter l'indignation de chaque citoyen de ce pays. Pas de justice, pas de paix.

Grands plaisir et satisfaction d'avoir participé à ce projet ayant abouti en un rien de temps à un exemple solide de journalisme en bande dessinée, grâce en particulier à l'intelligence et au talent de membres de la "génération Z" de différents pays d'Europe qui ont joliment travaillé ensemble. Grand plaisir encore d'avoir pu y contribuer en trio avec Gianluca Ascione et Claudio Calia, sans oublier les autres responsables de l'encadrement et de l'accompagnement, tout cela, me concernant, grâce à Sara Pavan. Il y a peu c'était David Lynch. Aujourd'hui...

Tant d'échos avec le présent. Un texte que notre premier ministre actuel, alors ministre de l'éducation nationale, jugeait trop politique pour être proposé aux élèves. Aujourd'hui, c'est un film sur Fanon qui intéresse peu, j'apprends, les salles de cinéma. Misère de ce pays qui a bien trop le visage d'un François Bayrou et de sa morale hypocrite. Quand est-ce que la majorité de la population de ce pays sera, enfin, décolonisée ? Quand est-ce qu'on en aura fini de cette France rance, qui surjoue la vertu au lieu de se regarder, une bonne fois, en face pour opérer enfin tous les dépassements nécessaires ?
