It didn’t stop at music. Punk shaped fashion, art and independent culture, giving a voice to disillusioned youth and influencing scenes worldwide. That energy still carries through today.

Join Radio Clash presenters John & Paul as they dig into their vinyl collections for 2 hours of original records, celebrating 50 years of punk.

SPETTRO [@cranio.obj & @flako.rytm ] step into Global Rhythms with a selection rooted in 90s and early 2000s house and electro-house. Slow-burning pressure moving from quirky and kinky textures into grittier territory, driven forward by the motorik pulse of German electro.

Together they run Spettro, a vinyl-only underground project dedicated to long-play sets, low-light spaces, and music that holds a room over time.

This "third place" representing snap comes from “Fasta Danza” - a hardgroove night on The Drop last October. Stormy skies and heavy rain didn’t slow things down, just a packed room of smiling faces and high energy all night. A full takeover with a soulfulwarm-up from @matrika_music ,followed by ex-Berlin resident @tred___ on vinyl, and closing with @naaes.dj bringing that signature uplifting energy.

This Friday we’ve got a special one - @kittyjuice.dj stepping in for a 1.5hr set on SS.

She’s been popping up everywhere the past couple years and for good reason.

You might’ve caught her at Blazing Swan, Blossom Festival, Metros Freo, Geisha, Restless or Aberdeen Hotel - now she’s shutting down the Freocast Forecourt this Friday.

Expect a smooth mix of funky tech, bass house and indie dance, all tied together with her own style and radiant presence behind the decks.

She is one of the Freocast OG - with 125 shows in the can. The collective has expanded to include Sarah, and between them both ‘The Local’ has become an incredible showcase of local music, local artists, and what’s on around Wayalyup.

As the Head of the World Players Association, they are a leading voice for 85,000 professional athletes across the globe. Their advocacy work intersects sports, human rights and international commerce - @mattdgraham1 is "doing it for the battlers!"

In our chat we talk about how Private Equity could jeopardise player safety, Mental Health in Sport, power and financial imbalances in International Sport, and how live player metric tracking can be used in betting.

We also talk about our mutual love of the @sffcbulldogs , the joy of buying CDs from @millsrecordsfreo and great music experiences at @perthfest
