This is Torn’s first publication made in house from start to finish. The idea was to flip a vintage Texas weekly calendar with photos from Freq’s archives. In addition to 54 photographs, there are 2 white ink prints to tear out and 12 stickers.
To make an edition of 100 books, 3300 sheets of paper were printed folded + collated by hand, 10,400 stitches were sewn by the GFS-14, 200 sticker sheets were die cut on the Heidelberg windmill press, 200 prints were perforated by hand, and 100 books were glued by hand.

I woke up last Sunday morning needing to vomit. The way we move is loathsome I am not a healthy person.
And everything is up for grabs this time and everybody in attendance knows what time it is
I’m an evil creature I respect everybody
my heart is big ugly mason jar Fill me up.
If you squished my body flat and used me as a rug for your bathroom my left foot would be worth more than the life of a politician.

I had this dream a few years back.
In five million years, in Texas, all of us will climb up this behemoth parking garage, 24 stories of endless concrete
And on top, there’s this party and the line to get in is 100 miles long
But nobody that’s in line is getting in because you got to know the password
And everybody who knows the password knows the password.
But it can’t be taught, you just got to know it
And it’s funny because it’s the simplest thing
And you would think they could guess it, but I guess they can’t
The password is Love and Hate
I woke up last Sunday morning I mean I woke up
My heart skipped two beats I thought I might throw up
Visualize clear blue water Okay Look.
It’s not a poem anymore I got something to say. Manifestation is precisely this.
A thought which is confirmed by an action
A mind which is confirmed by a body.
Have a thought and then do an action which is in line with the thought and you become the Creator.
