What a mad project to work on, love how we’re expanding into different styles of videos - having a contrast between more narrative focused work and VFX lead work makes things even more interesting.
@aitch smashed it again with the acting and creative input, we can see the constant growth 💪🏽 @kc.lockeperfectly executed his treatment into a fully planned and developed timeline, he pre-decided the order of shots which isn’t common in what we do and allowed us to build something that was pre-determined and executed to it’s fullest potential.
My role was more within making sure things went according to plan in post-production, assembled the first pass of the timeline with @dillydeeee as assistant on set helping with the timings of transitions for me to refine later and pick the right takes with KC.
Then I went into a post-supervision role just making sure things went smoothly between our VFX brothers at LMNTL who are always a pleasure to work with, they are so talented and great at dealing with the ideas that need to be executed.
KC has become a stronger director every single video, always pushing the boundaries and making sure that everything is done to perfection.
Very grateful to be working alongside you and looking at what we’ve built 4 years after we started this journey, this time of grafting allowed me to incubate my craft and just focus on being one of the best at what I do.

Cutting trailers is one of my favourite things to do - especially for @kc.locke cause he just gives me complete freedom to come up with anything tapped that I want.
I always request the stems of the track because it lets me almost build my own instrumental and score for the trailer. I let that lead the edit, whatever sounds I hear - vocals that sound different, little nuances that you only notice when the tracks pulled apart, what sparks the direction for me is what I run with.
I cut this late night until 4am and just knew it was fucking cold when I was done, straight to KC, no changes needed and got it approved. I’m blessed to work with people that get how I work and push me to explore being a creative editor on every project I work on.
Some BTS on slide 2 from when I started to add selects into the timeline - if yous are interested I might go more in-depth and do some voiceovers in the future to explain workflows and concepts within different edits.
