From the village and forest of Shankhadhura to the snow-capped peaks of the Johar valley, follow the journey of our sheeps's flock.
These local sheep give us wonderful wool for making our rugs. An art passed down for generations in the valley that we try to preserve.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Fantine, a textile design student, for three months, to share our stories and experiences with wool. She helped us so much in every step of the process. Wool holds no secrets for her now !

Première présentation de mes recherches autour de matériaux innovants, biomatériaux et biodesign lors de mon année de diplôme !

C'est en septembre 2022 que tout commence. J'ai eu la chance de rencontrer Marion Roullet, une ingénieure en Biomatériaux.

Elle m'a fait découvrir un univers merveilleux dans lequel on pourrait y chercher des solutions plus responsables et écologiques.

Dans mon cas, c'est le milieu du textile qui m'intéresse, la matière et sa fabrication. Les biomatériaux promettent une grande richesse pour la matière de demain!

Affaire à suivre....

First presentation of my research around innovative materials, biomaterials and biodesign during my graduation year!

It all started in September 2022. I had the chance to meet Marion Roullet, a Biomaterials engineer.

She introduced me to a wonderful world in which we could look for more responsible and ecological solutions.

In my case, it is the textile industry that I'm interesting in, the material and its manufacture. Biomaterials promise great wealth for the material of tomorrow!

Voici mon premier livre imprimé, mon mémoire de fin de licence en design de mode! Une consécration !!

Mes recherches ont débuté par l'analyse du crapaud perçu dans notre monde. Que l'on a toujours considéré comme laid, dans les contes, dans la société, l'exacte opposé de la beauté. Finalement tout cela m'a amené au bio design et à la manière de voir autrement les choses concernant le textile dans la mode. La mode c'est la beauté mais son impact écologique est drôlement laid...Ainsi en partant de déchets alimentaires récupérés dans les fin de marché, chez les maraîchers, j'ai pensé et créé une collection en champignons, en tomates, en betteraves etc.
Hâte de vous dévoiler le résultat !

So starting from food waste recovered at the end of the market, from market gardeners, I thought and created a collection in mushrooms, tomatoes, beets etc.

Fabrication de mon propre métier à tisser! En tombant sur un vieux cadre géant tout abîmé dans la rue j'ai eu une idée, créé mon métier à tisser! Quelques coûts de marteau, quelques clous, un peu de sciage et puis nous y voilà ! Plus qu'à l'essayer maintenant !

Le processus de feutrage je l'ai apprise toute seule ( avec youtube) et j'ai eu l'impression d'apprendre tellement plus que simplement la technique. J'ai appris à comprendre le sens d'une fibre, à l'analyser, la reconnaître, la peigner, la voir évoluer en fonction de la friction, de la température de l'eau et du savon à son contact. Le travail de laine est vraiment un apprentissage passionnant!!
