Huge congratulations to Futureworks alumni Lewis Cooper and Caleb Riley, whose animation work features in the latest campaign for the new @mandyindiana album Urgh – recently awarded a rare 5-star review in The Guardian ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The band invited artists to create 30 second films inspired by themes of ‘sickness’ from the track “Sicko” – check out the official video on YouTube.

The band’s guitarist Scott Fair is also a Futureworks Music Production alum (Class of 2018). A brilliant example of cross disciplinary alumni success.

A big shout out to our former Film & TV lecturer Andrew McKee, whose editing work helped shape the success of Waterloo Road, now in its 17th season on BBC iPlayer.

The series picked up two awards at this year’s RTS Awards:

• Best Continuing Drama Storyline – “The Murder of Boz” (featuring Jason Manford)
• Best Inclusive Practice

Ruby Grace is the first single from Coulson's forthcoming album on Futurework's 1043 Recordings due end Jan '26.

Produced by graduate music producer, George Kirwan and mastered by Graeme Lynch and Ollie Crockford at Futureworks Mastering Suite. When you forge together expertise, experience, and a deep musical knowledge with pure, raw songwriting talent, bristling with passion and creativity, you end up with Coulson. A tight group of Liverpool-based musicians from the Crosby area of the city. The group comprises Steve (bass), Andy and Peter (guitars), Mark (drums), George (keyboards) and Drew (vocals). Based upon a rock foundation, the group hit your heart, put a spring in your step, and have you lost in deep thought, and occasionally dancing away without a care. Bring it on, the album's a fantastic piece of work!
