FWA
Cutting edge showcase and inspiration since 2000.
What a privilege! Reposting @2advancedstudios @ericleejordan - 2Advanced x FWA. ‘Field Station 02’ - Some Truths Are Embedded In Code
‘The Kesey Signal’ - a new book by Rob Ford @rob_fwa (@fwa). Out now in digital + print. What if the truth about humanity’s past was hidden in plain sight, embedded in the source code of archived Flash websites?
Grab the book and enter a drawing to win a limited-edition Kesey Signal Poster, designed by 2Advanced and hand-signed by author Rob Ford (FWA) + Eric Jordan (2advanced).

As The FWA heads towards 25 years (!) recognising the best work every day, it means even more to read comments like these after so many years.
Being relevant for a quarter of a century isn’t easy, especially online.
Thanks Haraldur Thorleifsson ! 🧡
The full text (tweet, or whatever they are called now):
“My @OnnuJonuSon website just won the @fwa award for site of the month!
As a designer that started out in web design, the FWA has always been the highest honor in our industry.
It’s an award that highlights the best of the best. Winning site of the day is already a huge honor.
Site of the month is the next level above. A very competetive category of cutting edge web designs.
Thank you to @robbincenijn and @AristideBenoist, the best collaborators possible.”

(Official Cover Reveal) 📦 The Archive vs. The Mystery.
[RF]
For 25 years, I’ve lived in the history of the web. 640 pages of Taschen’s Web Design history.
But while archiving the past, a darker story started to emerge.
I’m thrilled to finally reveal the cover for my debut techno-thriller: THE KESEY SIGNAL. 🌑💻
If the Taschen book is the “record” of what happened, The Kesey Signal is the conspiracy hidden beneath the source code. It’s a journey through digital archaeology, decaying code, and a history that isn’t just disappearing—it’s being erased.
The plot features some of the web’s most iconic “stars”:
🕹️ MONO*crafts
🚀 2Advanced Studios
🐔 Subservient Chicken
🥛 Get the Glass!
😱 Hotel 626
🚲 The Wilderness Downtown
The signal goes live on May 5th. [Kindle / Paperback / Hardback]
Unreal cover design by @see_cefai @collaborate_
I’m curious—if you were plotting a digital conspiracy, which ‘fossil’ from that era of the web would you have used to hide the truth?

Has anyone got any creative FWA win images, like those attached?!
I’m (Rob) doing a dedicated section in the FWA autobiography book highlighting the cool and crazy stuff (and cakes) people have done over the years and didn’t want to miss out on anything I haven’t got on file.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
