Beatrice Moumdjian’s (@surveillanceartist ) artistic practice combines autobiographical research with a critical perspective on history and its forms of transmission. She makes visible how closely personal life stories are interwoven with political and historical processes, and how these interconnections can be questioned, shifted, and rearticulated through artistic methods. From her remaining family photos—150 images—she transforms extracted photographic motifs into three-dimensional objects, which are rearranged and photographically restaged in the outdoor and exhibition spaces; the motifs, removed from their original context, lose their representational function and transform into independent carriers of meaning and evidence, situated between personal memory and historical reconstruction. Puzzleteile
2025 was a year that put me against the wall, face to face with my biggest fears.
After that... completely broke, I started to recompose myself, to reconnect pieces and wonder if I really should take everything with me this time.

What do I leave, what do I take... who am I becoming?
The roles that I played...
Mother, daughter, lover, professional, friend, activist...
How to find a new order?
And how, despite those struggles, do you find peace and love in the smallest details?

Durchs Mikroskop öffnet sich eine unsichtbare Welt. Winzige Dinge werden zu gigantischen Landschaften, Formen und Wesen. Gemeinsam sammeln wir Spuren, legen sie unter die Linse, zeichnen, vergrößern, verwandeln. Mit Farben, Stoffen und Fantasie erschaffen wir fantastische Kreaturen, die den Raum bevölkern – einst verborgen, nun sichtbar, lebendig im Spiel zwischen Kunst, Wissenschaft und Imagination.
