The new @nanlux_global 5000b has arrived at gforce and what a beast it is. 5000 watts of power draw, 2700-6500 color balance, +-80 green magenta shift, ip66 housing, with an all-in-one design. It’s heavy at 46kg but it’s gonna be useful for a lot of applications.

Our @d2motion_filmtech STRETCH motion control in the wild. Here it’s doing a very precise movement from the face to the pistol, impossible to do precisely with any other tool. Also helps with post production by making tracking predictable, exact and breezy. Mr Stretch is rocking an @arri Alexa LF mini with signature primes here and with payloads up to 20kg, most cinema rigs are no problem. #motioncontrol #filmmakers

We had the opportunity thanks to @arri_asia to test the new ENSO lenses. We utilised all the lenses in the demo set and there will be a very complete set of focal lengths from 10.5mm all the way to 250mm. We were impressed - small, lightweight, a huge range of lenses and not too sharp. They have beautiful roll-off and crazy close distance capabilities. They are also built with ergonomic consistency making them great for gimbal work. We are still considering whether to buy, weighing up whether a second set of Signature Primes might rent out more. Should we buy? We shot this test with a bunch of different filtration from @tiffencompany and @schneideroptics . We left our lenses in Little India and they may have been swiped by an Auntie. They are really great useful @dzofilm lenses. A full set of CATTA FF zooms in PL mount. And a set of GNOSIS macro lenses - 24-33-65-90 - fantastic for tabletop and close work that can also focus to infinity. We have another set on the way so if you want to rent or test it out, let us know. And if anyone finds the Auntie, call the police immediately. #dzofilm #cinemarental

Quick test on our @laowa.cine 10mm T3.1 rehoused by @gl_optics. Superwide angle rectilinear lens that is sharp edge to edge. Very useful in tight spaces, for super wide epic shots and stylised close ups with its 4” close focus. It’s very light at 1.4 pounds so good for gimbal work. With an LPl mount, 95mm filter diameter and 170 degree focus throw with professional focus dial, it is suitable for the rigour of the most demanding professional environments. Add it to your next kit or test it out at GCF.

Winners of the music video competition! Thank you all for the submissions. We had 11 treatments to read through and the holidays came on quick so we only just got to it. We actually had trouble deciding so we have expanded the prizes a little.
Prize 1 – BURN by Caracal - $2500 cash and 2 days equip rental up to $10k.
Prize 2 – HUMANS NOT CARGO by Subhas - $1500 cash and 2 days rental up to $7k
Prize 3 –MISS U by John Makazo - $1000 and 2 days rental up to $7k.

ALL other entries can take a free equipment package for 1-2 days worth around $4k - Alexa mini/Fx6 plus a lens set and a basic van package.

1st prize - $2500 cash and up to $10k in free rental for a 2 day shoot.
2nd prize - $1500 cash and up to $5k equipment rental for a 1 day shoot.
