Stanzie Tooth’s A Persistent Crossing blurs boundaries between people, place, and the natural world 🌿 ⁠

In this final installation at Bentway Staging Grounds, Tooth uses a series of large-scale images that wrap around the site’s scaffolding towers to create a threshold between built and natural worlds. Featuring imagery of large human silhouettes, shifting skies, and native Ontario vegetation, A Persistent Crossing encourages viewers to recognize that nature is not something separate from urban life, but part of its intricate ecological fabric. ⁠
