Capturing the feeling of a dim bar was an entirely different approach. We opted for a bit of tungsten sources just to break up the red bar lighting, slightly underexposing and printing the film down in the grade, which helped us still retain the detail we wanted in the shadows. Capturing the feeling of a dim bar was an entirely different approach. We opted for a bit of tungsten sources just to break up the red bar lighting, slightly underexposing and printing the film down in the grade, which helped us still retain the detail we wanted in the shadows. It was important to shoot bar interiors that actually felt dark and not overly lit, shot on 5219 push 1.” Director Ramez Silyan
