every year i draw the same person on april 4, this year i missed it
last year's drawing --- equally rushed --- held such warm affection, but now i'm out of practice, pencil clumsy and heavy, tracing the form of a subject that's become alien to me
kids these days dont even say trick or treat anymore they just beeline for the candy
