An ode to the wild 🌙🌲🐻✨

Something cheery to celebrate every full moon of the year 🌝

Ever since I was young, I’ve been enamored by the names of things. I was fascinated by the different colors of crayons and what they were called and named every single one of my stuffed animals. As an adult, that hasn’t changed too much. I still have a name for all of my dog’s toys, my car (it’s Tango if you’re wondering!) and love knowing what things are called—paint chips, trails, colors, mountains, canyons, lakes (really, so many locations in nature) and of course, the full moons!

Names give character and identity to everything, making them feel so important and special! When I moved last year, we repainted a wall in the color Perfect Backdrop✨ (but were debating between Koala🐨 and Timber Dust🪵) and I find that so fun!

2025. I always love looking back on the year to see how my work has evolved and shifted. Though I didn’t create as much personal work as I hoped to, the things I was able to create really matter to me. I worked with some amazing small businesses and organizations and I’m very grateful for that! One thing that remained constant was my inspiration being rooted in lived experiences in the wilderness and a deep appreciation for the planet.

2025 was hard in many ways too—small and big changes in life, leaning into trying new things and letting go of what doesn’t align with me.

I’m so glad you’re here and following along! Here’s to more art, rest, balance + adventure in 2026 ⚡️
