Recipe

Tempeh Sattu Tikki with Honey Chilli Butter 🍯🌶️

For the Tikkis:

* 200g tempeh
* 1 small carrot (finely chopped or grated)
* ½ cup green peas
* 1 small onion (finely chopped)
* 3–4 tbsp sattu
* Salt as per taste
* Black pepper as per taste
* Ghee for frying

Method:

1. Grind or crumble the tempeh.
2. In a bowl, add tempeh, finely chopped carrot, green peas, and onion.
3. Add salt, pepper, and sattu.
4. Mix everything properly till it comes together like a dough. If it feels too dry, add 1–2 tsp water.
5. Make small-small tikkis with your hands.
6. Heat ghee on a pan and shallow fry the tikkis till golden and crispy from both sides.

For the Honey Chilli Butter:

* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp crushed dried chilli and garlic

Method:

1. Melt the butter slightly.
2. Add honey and whisk properly till glossy.
3. Add crushed dried chilli flakes and garlic and mix.
