“We’re excited to share the completion of *The Clearing*, an outdoor education and craft space nestled in Lesnes Abbey Woods! 🌳 Construction began last November, and despite battling rain, storms, and plenty of mud, Gransden Construction successfully brought this unique space to life.
Designed by Wonky Architects and built on the footprint of former goods yards, *The Clearing* will be home to early years education, woodland crafts, storytelling, writing courses, and forest school programs. The space is framed by beautifully carved wooden posts supporting a retractable parachute, creating a special environment for outdoor learning.
We’re proud to have been part of this fantastic project, made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the London Borough of Bexley.
