Well now that the season is over it’s weird to have an off weekend. I can’t say I rode my best this year with only 2 days on the bike before A1 but got lucky most of the year was easy with light sign ups . I’m not going to lie and fake how it went . I qualified for 14 of the 16 night shows I attempted this year with no practice between and skipping one to go race in Mexico and then missing qualifying for 2 of them for just riding poorly no excuses but rode good in the final round when it counted.

As for the season I want to give a huge thanks to all my sponsors friends fans and supporters from the smallest support and every single fan that just stops by to say hi to my largest support weather it be product or financial I couldn’t live this life traveling and racing without every last one of you . The fans are what drives me to keep going and my sponsors are what make that a reality !

To the Mahoney’s , Shawn & Jaime have been behind me for several years now they’re more than sponsors but friends almost like family I appreciate everything yall do for me .

To my new sponsors this year @ogs_moto stepped up last minute when I needed a gear deal and helped me in a tight spot with fresh and comfy gear that held up great !
Jenn with @highpeakfx killed it on the graphics this year I loved the retro so much we kept it the rest of the season and the kits held up amazing multiple rounds still looking new!
Also new this year was @onegripper and that seat cover gripped so good It’d pull my pants down when seat bouncing sometimes lol! So easy to install and gripped great!
@maxxistires got on board this year and I’m really impressed with their tire quality durability and traction. Their support kept fresh rubbers on the bike all season.

Quick little run down Hurrah pass to wind caves Chickens corner then a few side trails . It sure is fun learning this Honda talon but now vacation in Moabis over and it’s time to start building the Sxs to race the Baja 1000. We have a lot of work to do to it as this car is still mostly stock. So far we have a few sponsors on board helping with parts for the carWe’ll be doing a rundown on everything we do with the build and the sponsors involved in the effort as we go the next couple months so stay tuned ! We’re still actively looking for more support weather it be a company that makes the parts we need for the car , or individuals and companies wanting a logo on the car and gear for the race in return for support . @nichollecsg and myself will be the only drivers during the 1000 as she will be our driver of record we plan to split the driving 50/50 . Our main goal is to get that car to the finish line within the time frame in the pro utv naturally aspirated class. # 1976

Still looking for upgraded steering , cv’s, tie rods , knuckles, hubs , driveshaft, suspension , oversized radiator/relocation , fuel cell, fire suppression, siren, fire suits, skid plates, hans, winch, jack, and a lot more. I’m still learning a lot with the car and making the list longer as I go but pretty much any fail safes to make the car more reliable for the race against attrition.

I’m really impressed with this Honda talon platform . I’m new to 4 wheel activities just racing 2 wheels my entire life but man what this car is capable of stock is impressive . I’ve driven the other two brands in turbo cars and liked them as well but I believe this car is just as capable even being non turbo was impressed with power delivery , handling , comfort, and reliability in stock form definitely the best bang for your buck

Well first day out in Moab was solid , found this gnarly canyon edge . They said it was a 7/10 difficulty I didn’t think it would be but it was exciting in the Honda . Couple hundred foot drop off cliff right on the side made it interesting lol. Then the trails after it was a blast nice 50+ mile loop. Every so often you can catch me locked in and fully in my element . It’s tough on a fast lap to have perfect technique and style , also who’s to say perfect but I do like how locked in I am here doing exactly as I teach , standing weighting the outer peg on the balls of the feet and legs tight . Charging though th corner exiting the sand on a hot lap to get the lap time Into the night show , focused at the finish line already as far forward as I can . I’m just glad every once in a while I can still have some good style .

Denver what can I say , the layout was fun , fairly simple , jumped everything 2nd lap so was feeling confident. Slipped her into the night show , at a mile high was definitely gasping for air but rode my laps and threw 1 or 2 whips. I can’t believe we only have one round to go , this season went by so quickly . We have salt lake this weekend and that’s a wrap. Salt lake is really similar to Denver , hard pack dirt that gets blue grooveand the high altitude makes it tough. Going to try to finish strong with Friday privateer challenge motos an then Saturday qualifyingto hopefully make the final night show of the season . Let’s go ! 📸 @ls2helmetsus
