2026 is looking like a dooooozy! Full World Cup season plus some other really cool events sprinkled in. I’ve always loved racing all kinds of bikes, so I’ll be dabbling in some other disciplines over the next few weeks. Really excited to check out some new spots and events, first up is @seaotterclassic this week, looking forward to see this legendary event for the first time!

Could not be more stoked and proud to have been part of this project. To have the opportunity to put my own stamp on my favourite hill in the world has been insane. Growing up riding on this hill I could never have imagined be able to do something like this.

The crowd on the final stage is where the idea for race run follow cams came from. Reminded me of Trophy of Nations and this lived up to that, so much fun! Link in stories for full race runs!

The officially unofficial Squamish All Mountain Omnium: a challenge twice as nice.

Part I

Geoff Kabush, decorated Canadian XC athlete, Velocio ambassador and Squamish local, sees fit to start a friendly competition for anyone up for racing back-to-back weekends of the Haulback XC and the Squamish Enduro. Race’em both and determine a winner based on a points system that combines high-intensity XC racing with the hard-charging enduro racing. “Simple” enough, right? You just have to be good at going fast downhill… and up. A “Why Not” kind of idea.

Part II

Enter Greg Callaghan, enduro champ, also a Velocio ambassador, and an appreciator of fine marzipan says, “Ok, why not” and flies from Europe to Squamish to give it a whirl. A stacked field of Squamish locals show, mayhem and blind racing ensues, and Greg lands 12th at Haulback and 4th at the Enduro; altogether crowning him the first official champion of the unoffficial Squamish All Mountain Omnium.

Thanks for the good times, guys. Thanks for the unmatched energy, Squamish. Best weekend(s) ever.
