Thursday trails never disappoint.
#trailrunning #trails #runhappy #runoutside #mountainrunning
The plan was to run the first half comfortably and push the back half. That part mostly held: miles 1 through 6 felt controlled, miles 7 through 11 lived in that comfortably uncomfortable zone, and the last mile and a half was pure pain cave.
I felt like 1:45 was a good goal along with negative splits that's what happened. I love it when a plan comes together.

Why it's worth waking up early every Friday morning...

Leaders aren’t always the loudest in the room.
Victor Chen has been running with us since the beginning. Entrepreneur. Builder. One of the quiet anchors of this community. He doesn’t lead by announcement. He leads by presence.
There’s a version of Steve Jobs most people know — the relentless, demanding, uncompromising version. What people talk about less is who he became.
Jobs was fired from Apple in 1985. Partly because of his inability to lead with empathy — to understand where people were actually coming from. He spent 12 years away. When he came back, he came back different. He had learned to listen first. To understand before he challenged. To meet people where they were before asking them to go somewhere new.
That shift didn’t make him softer. It made him more effective. It’s what turned Apple into what it became.
The most valuable company in the world was built by a man who learned how to listen.
Before Jobs passed, he looked at Tim Cook and gave him one piece of advice.
“Never ask what I would do. Just do the right thing.”
He’d watched what happened to Disney after Walt died — a company paralyzed, constantly asking what the founder would have done instead of making their own decisions. He didn’t want that for Apple. He wanted Cook to lead as himself. Fully. Without imitation.
This year, Tim Cook announced he’s stepping down. Under his leadership, Apple grew from a $350B company to $4 trillion in market value. The iPhone alone now generates over $200B in annual revenue.
He didn’t do it by asking what Steve would have done.
Now he’s passing the same advice to John Ternus.
That chain — Jobs to Cook to Ternus — is what real leadership transition looks like. Not a legacy to perform. A permission to be yourself, anchored to the right values. Victor carries that same permission naturally.
He doesn’t try to be the loudest or the first or the most visible. He shows up. He listens. He holds the energy of the room without demanding it. And he runs — every week, every Friday, before the world wakes up — because that’s what the work requires.
That’s the kind of leadership that doesn’t need a title to be felt.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
