Hackney Giving
Hackney's local giving programme.

Things are shaping up at the Marshes ready the @hackneymoves events this weekend. Good to see charity partner tents ready including @stjohospice and @hackneynightshelter.
Here at Hackney Giving we've got a team of 12 running the Hackney Half on Sunday. Look out for them and give them a clap as they go past! You can sponsor them at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/running-for-hackney-giving. Your donation will go towards community projects in Hackney and the City of London, supporting health and wellbeing or to bring people together to reduce social isolation.
Thanks for your support, whether it's a donation or giving the runners a big well done cheer as they run by.

GG the Illustrator (@ggtheillustrator) is a London-based artist documenting council estates and working-class neighbourhoods through painting and illustration. With a background in 2D animation, her work centres on storytelling, place and lived experience — building an evolving visual archive of London’s changing urban landscape.
Alongside a solo exhibition - Estate of Mind - at The Cannery (@thecannery_sweetthursday), selected works will also appear in the windows of the Hackney CVS (@hackney_cvs) building on Dalston Lane.
“I’ve been building a creative archive of council estates across London, documenting them through painting and illustration so they can be remembered as many of these buildings and communities face demolition and redevelopment.”
GG will also release a special limited-edition print for Hackney Art Week, with 50% of proceeds to Hackney Giving (@hackneygiving).
Estate of Mind Private View / Meet the Artist, Wednesday 10th June, 7–9pm

Took another couple of opportunities to be out and about week.
Started off by visiting Blossoms and the Sonshine Club and heard how both projects provided young people with food, one via a school holiday club and the other by holding cooking classes with food and recipes for the children to take home. These food projects give families help with the cost of living, making life easier for them.
For us, meeting our grant-holders and being able to talk to them is key to our understanding of what is happening in communities across Hackney and the City of London - as well as being enjoyable and a chance to say thank you!
Then joined in with the Tiny Forest tree planting event at Clissold Park, hosted by @earthwatcheurope. Look out for the newly planted trees at the southern tip of the park. We'll be watching closely as the Tiny Forest grows over the coming months and years!

It was a lovely visit to @hypuhackney today and see their project supporting young people and the community with the cost of living, which is funded through Hackney Giving. It is always satisfying to learn about the great work organisations are doing for the community.

We also visited Betaminds project, drop-in hub where elderly and young people come together to socialise. during our visit, we had a chance to meet the bes domino player ☺️ Betaminds received funding through Hackney Giving, and it was truly inspiring to see the valuable work they are doing for the community.

We visited AMURT @ananda_marga_london, To see their project helping people with the cost of living, which was partly funded through Hackney Giving. It was amazing to see the preparation of food for the community they serve and distribute.
Great work team, keep it up!

Today, Hackney CVS colleagues and trustees spent the morning together looking at our motivations and priorities.
We considered moments that demonstrated that the organisation is making a difference. It was an opportunity to share feedback from Hackney Giving grant-holders that shows how needed and appreciated funding is. One said recently:
“You have enabled us to bring warmth, comfort, and light to families who face particular challenges during the winter months.
“Many families shared with us how much it meant to feel remembered and supported at a time of year that can otherwise be overwhelming. The vouchers helped transform their holidays into moments of celebration, connection, and happiness – something that would not have been possible without your assistance.”
Thanks to @hoxtonhall for having us!

Today we went to an event giving people support and advice about the cost of living held by The Cost of Living Project, in partnership with CoCreate Hackney and The Community Closet. It was a busy event with lots of stall holders, some of which Hackney Giving funded previously. Lovely to see so many people. ☺️

Thank you Hackney! Donations to our Cost of Living appeal have now passed £25,000. That money goes towards Hackney projects supporting people with food or to pay their bills. We're grateful to every single person and company that's donated and thank you all.
Find out more: https://www.hackneygiving.org.uk or to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/hackneygiving

Thank you so much to our friends at @cheshamarms for raising money for Hackney Giving with their pumpkin carving competition. And thank you to everyone who took part and donated! There are some beautifully carved lanterns here to light the way into winter.
The money raised will go towards community projects that support health and wellbeing or which bring people together to reduce isolation.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
