Hasmood is a first-gen Iraqi American lifeform experimenting with light, code, sensors, and machine dreams. His interactive worlds blur nature and tech, humor and haunt, inviting you to poke around, feel weird, and maybe glitch a little.

May 23, Pulse X Be Yourself team up for the first time to bring a proper night of underground dance music and techno. Featuring a very special guest, Berlin techno heavyweight and Berghain resident Fadi Mohem, making his Portland debut.With support from Ana Sia and a special b2b from Moussa and UNDSCLSD.

About Fadi - Early in his career, he received support from Sebastian Szary of Modeselektor and now holds a residency at Berghain. Raised in the outskirts of Berlin in Spandau, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music in his youth. Exploring the city with a desire for graffiti and urban culture, he made his first steps as a DJ and producer in 2011.His studies in Sound​​​​​​​​​​​​​​engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer granted him a set of technical skills that improved the sound of his own productions. Influenced by early Detroit techno and Berlin dub techno, drum’n’bass and idm.His productions and sets are united by a constant lookout for groove, flow, reduction and repetition and follow the urge to surrender oneself solely to the music. With a quick workflow as a producer, he likes to play out new unreleased tracks in his DJ sets to establish a bridge between the dance floor and studio. Paired with quick and razor sharp multi deck mixing, his DJ sets keep building and building with a forward drive and the goal to create a unifying experience on the dance floor.

Woody92 is a Dutch DJ and multidisciplinary artist known for expertly curated, unconventional sets that explore leftfield electronics, hypnotic techno, and radiant minimalism, earning him a quietly defiant reputation for depth and focus both in clubs and outsider spaces across the Netherlands and beyond.

Born in Delft and influenced by the radical sounds of the nearby city The Hague, his musical practice runs parallel to his background in art and graphic design, drawing inspiration from diverse historical and cultural aesthetics, note the exquisite graphic styling of various album covers, posters and art pieces featured on w92’s IG.

These combined passions culminated in the launch of Omen Wapta in 2021, a record label and creative platform that showcases music and projects from an international yet close-knit community, envisioning a collaborative future through sound, design, and fashion.

With Omen Wapta at the core of his vision, Woody92 continues to challenge creative boundaries, both on the dancefloor and beyond.

eft is known for his ability to metamorphose between genres and tempos with a secret specialty in the ambient realms- when the hour beckons.

dj eft aka mugwert contributes regularly as a resident DJ, designer, and curator for DIY Portland party and now budding festival, OSMOSIS.

Andrew Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary artist using an array of tools and custom software to produce otherworldly works. Rooted in technical art and 3D animation, his practice draws from the natural world and scientific systems to evoke a sense of enchantment across time and space.

Intercepted deep-space transmissions have inspired our team of rave scientists to construct a flotation tank of unusual design. Within this vessel, the submerged voyager drifts freely alongside cybernetically enhanced dolphins. Under the influence of a cocktail of synthetic psychic accelerants, this figure, known as the rave medium. communes telepathically with the aquatic beings, who sing hydraulic visions directly into his mind.

Repeated experiments with multiple mediums yielded identical revelations: visions of a glowing egg, containing the primordial potential of all music and dance. Our division of divination has interpreted this omen as a signal 📡 now is the auspicious moment to return to Osmosis’ birthplace and chart untraveled vectors.

Accordingly, on December 12th Osmosis returns to the hallowed Ming Lounge for a night of non-stop hi-fi mayhem. Step into the labyrinthine back rooms as our stacked lineup of selectors warp minds and bend the very fabric of reality.

After a long hiatus spent preparing for our annual conjuring in the wilds of southern Oregon, Osmosis returns to Portland.

The evening begins with an ambient and downtempo offering, complete with comfy floor cushions and gong fu tea service. This opening portal embodies cozy reflection and community as we settle into the darker, colder months.

As night unfolds, the chrysalis breaks open and the sonic butterfly emerges. The space will transform as we ignite our ritualistic dance energy and find release through shared movement and sound.

Expect the signature Osmosis blend of beloved local artists and traveling visionaries, with immersive art and lighting by our visual dream team Mor-f and Hasmood.
