Together we showed up to City Council for Chinatown.
Artists, families, business owners—voices from our community, speaking for a place that is still alive.
This is about protecting a living community.
Canadian Chinatown series continues with Vancouver's Chinatown!
This spring I fell in love with Vancouver, British Columbia. Painting across the city from English Bay to historic Chinatown. Vancouver, you've taken very good care of me 💗
Thank you all for following and for supporting my work — we have many more places to go and even more to paint together!

Childhood Chinatown (3/3) ‘Dim Sum’ 11”x14”
(Prints available link in my bio!)
Sunday was the only day our family ate together. Six days out of seven our parents worked 12+ hour days for almost two decades. That is why on Sundays we rarely cooked and always went out to eat. That is also why we would often wait together outside to get a seat. Rol San had a second dining room in the back so you could wait inside which was very welcoming during the colder months. I remember walking through the first dining room and I always took my time as I walked pass the kitchen.
This piece was inspired by dim sum.
Created after the New Year in January 2021.

Join @secretteatime and @hello.anson at @evergreen_brick_works for their FORTH Seasonal Brush & Brew — a thoughtfully curated experience where art, tea, and nature meet.
Spend the afternoon in creative stillness. Choose to muse en plein air amid the natural beauty of the Brick Works, or settle into a cozy indoor space. Begin by steeping and sipping premium loose-leaf tea served in a handmade chawan (tea bowl), allowing the warmth and aroma to ground you in the present moment.
Then, transition into a guided painting session led by Anson, where you’ll explore expressive techniques using watercolour pencils. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or simply tea-curious and creatively inclined, this seasonal gathering invites you to slow down, observe deeply, and create with intention.
For this edition we have access to the indoor area of Evergreen Brick Works.

NEW GROUP EXHIBITION @bbishopairport !
My parents opened our restaurant here in Toronto on 1998, and much of my childhood was spent behind a counter, observing how food, language, and care quietly held a community together. While I chose a different path and went to art school rather than taking over our family business, that early experience shapes how I see and understand our city.
Since the pandemic, my practice has focused on painting restaurants and small businesses across Toronto and other Canadian cities. These spaces are often overlooked, yet they are deeply embedded in the cultural fabric of their neighbourhoods. Through my paintings, I celebrate, archive, and share the stories of these places before they change or disappear. My work serves as both a visual record and a gesture of gratitude, honouring the people who nourish the city through daily, often unseen labour.
By valuing observation over spectacle and memory over monument, my work reflects Toronto’s spirit. Through my practice, we get to honour modest spaces where culture is practiced daily and community is sustained. By making time to truly see these places, I hope to return that care to the city that has shaped me.
To be loved is to be seen.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
