Constructlab
transnational collaborative network engaging with communities through a.o. architecture and design

The last stop of our itinerant conference, “Building Communities” will be organised by @hello_constructlab to discuss construction practices and their generative capacity for community building. We will consider how material engagement can inform both individual and collective approaches to informal education.
We will also address the role of risk and risk-taking in informal education spaces both as an essential element of pedagogical experimentation and as an ongoing precarious condition within informal learning environments to operate within.
This one-day event will combine discussion and practice.
If you’re curious about our itinerant conference and wanna learn more about it, we’re organising an online webinar on 18.05.26 at 17:00 - 18:00 🔗 link in bio to join us!

@neue.effizienz @hello_constructlab

Constructlab practicing presence at the WDC Pavilion in Bad Homburg.
This was the WDC Pavilion in Bad Homburg.
We lived and worked in and around the pavilion.
Slow encounters. Loosely programmed, real use, but not accidental.
Alongside this, the Constructlab Residency took place. Two weeks of collective building and making. People joined in to build stools, chairs, and benches using shared modules, found materials, or whatever they brought along.
Objects moved between hands, homes, and public space.
Thanks for having us Bad Homburg!
This week the pavilion opens up in Kelkheim. Come and visit us there!

The second stop of our itinerant conference, “In Context” will be organised by @spolka.cc and centres on practices rooted in place and locality.
We will reflect on the permeability of informal education to its surrounding environment, exploring how geography, social dynamics, and the built context shape our pedagogical approaches. We will also discuss how to build transnational alliances and define measures of impact that account for both collective transformation and individual growth.
This one-day event will be a space for discussion and practice.
We’re organising an online webinar to tell you all about our itinerant conference and how to participate on 18.05.2026 18:00 - 19:00. Link in bio to register 🔗
Other stops are organised with @floatinguniversity , @fablabtorino , and @hello_constructlab

“Hüttenspiel – Ein Raum der Kinder (A Children‘s Space)” is constructlab’s contribution to Manifesta 16 Ruhr @manifestabiennial . The installation at St. Anna Church in Gelsenkirchen will be created in May 2026 during a collaborative process with the neighboring primary school Kurt Schumacher Straße and the research group Urban Development, land use planning and design processes at TU Dortmund @staedtebauprozesse . The installation will be open every Wednesday from 4:00–5:30 p.m. for the entire duration of Manifesta 16.
Together with local schoolchildren Constructlab is questioning the urban environment surrounding their school building, an environment that is mostly created by and for adults. Based on the idea of the playful building of huts in the woods, they design and assemble collectively modular structures that invite play, rest and small events. By using found materials and simple techniques the structures are reacting to the needs of children and can be easily assembled and dismantled. This way these structures can appear and disappear in various spaces like churches, schools or parks. The process is a hands-on “school of collaboration”: improvisational, imaginative and inclusive, teaching how shared spaces emerge from many hands.

Forever grateful for the amazing team 🙏

On our itinerant conference, our first stop, “Opening Doors”, will be organised by @floatinguniversity on 22.07.26 to discuss inclusion and accessibility in informal education.
Together, we will examine how informal learning environments can expand access to education for those often excluded from traditional systems across different fields of knowledge.
We will also reflect on how informal education can host marginalised forms of knowledge itself: alternative epistemologies, situated practices, and underrepresented pedagogies.
This one-day event will combine discussion and hands-on practice.
Other stops will be organised with @spolka.cc @fablabtorino @hello_constructlab !

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
