Aujourd’hui, certaines choses changent.
On voit de plus en plus de visages différents à des postes qu’on ne pensait autrefois accessibles qu’à certain·e·s :
médecins, avocate·s, responsables politiques...
Pourtant, tout n’a pas changé.
Encore trop souvent, on nous fait comprendre que, pour occuper certains lieux, il faut camoufler ce qui nous relie à nos origines.
Cette année, on a reçu pas mal de témoignages de personnes aux cheveux afros ou texturés.
Au quotidien, certain·e·s reçoivent des remarques sur leurs cheveux.
D’autres, des blagues, voire des insultes.
Au travail, certain·e·s ne sont pas pris·es au sérieux,
d’autres sont même contraint·e·s de changer de coiffure pour continuer d’occuper leur poste…

You Belong pense que ce n’est pas la nature de nos cheveux qui doit changer pour être pleinement acceptée, c’est le regard qu’on pose dessus.
