We are pleased to reveal our latest work for @segddesign : the visual identity for International Design Day 2026 and its central theme, The Spaces in Between. This year’s concept explores the thresholds where design shapes how we relate and coexist.
More than a logotype, the identity is an adaptive mechanism designed to scale across every format and invite participation from a new generation of creatives. By literally opening up space for global expression, we’ve created a framework for the community to make their own.
Explore the IDD2026 toolkit at the link in our bio and show us: how will you define { The Spaces in Between }?

Lucy Holmes is the Founder and Creative Director of @holmes_studio, the London-based, B Corp-certified design practice that created the visual identity for International Design Day 2026. Known for translating complex ideas into meaningful visual experiences, she has worked across major cultural institutions, including the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge and the British Museum’s Western Range redevelopment.
In “The Theme Made Visible,” @lucyholmes_designer joins SEGD CEO Cybelle Jones to reflect on the challenge of translating an abstract idea—The Spaces In Between—into a visual language. Their conversation explores how design can reveal the invisible moments where ideas become experiences, where people connect, and where meaning quietly takes shape.
Her work reminds us that design doesn’t only live in finished objects—it lives in the relationships between them.
For International Design Day 2026, SEGD presents The Spaces In Between—Cybelle Jones in Conversation, a series of prerecorded discussions with leading voices across design exploring the thresholds where connection, belonging, and human experience are shaped.
🎥 These conversations will stream throughout the day on April 27 on SEGD’s YouTube and LinkedIn channels. Watch from anywhere—or join an SEGD Chapter event near you and be part of the global celebration of design.

An identity system built to move. To capture the energy of a global movement, we took a structural approach to typography. Using curly brackets—symbols that define boundaries and clarify meaning—to articulate the concept of ‘The Spaces in Between’.
By stretching these brackets, we introduced a bold spectrum of ‘digital colour’—blending retro palettes with acidic greens and pinks—to mimic the vibration of a shifting TV signal. The result is a powerful, adaptive mechanism that expands horizontally and vertically to accommodate text, imagery, and animation.
Our design provides a blank canvas for the global community to project their own interpretations into the theme. We want to see how you are using the IDD2026 toolkit to define your own thresholds and connections.

Lights. Camera. Intention. That quiet moment before a great meeting with a new client. We are very lucky.

Museums matter. They hold ideas in public, slow us down, and remind us that culture is something we actively shape, not passively inherit. Places to think, question, and imagine together. @themuseumofmodernart

The dream team. Together today. What a year we have had. Feeling blessed to collaborate and be a part of your worlds. Thank you @richerich @claresummerfield @wayne__mlland @allicechristie 💛🙏🏻💛🙏🏻

Six today. Hard to believe it all began in 2019. Grateful for every person, every project, every moment. 🙏🏻

Huge congratulations to @linaghotmeh on being named in the TIME100 Next list, recognising the 100 most influential rising stars shaping the future.
We have the privilege of working with Lina and her team @linaghotmeh_architecture on the British Museum Western Range project. Her practice is visionary, rigorous, poetic, and deeply attuned to place. It’s inspiring to see that talent recognised on such a global stage.

A warm, wonderful welcome to @allicechristie, our new Creative Producer and already a much-loved part of the team. She’s only just joined, but it already feels like forever (in the best way). We couldn’t be happier she’s here. 💛
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
