One of my favorite scrapped demos, where do we toss it?

We often overlook how valuable scrapped demos can be. They reveal the path you could take. This one’s a favorite of mine, it ended up synced to an early-stage dump edit of The Pulse Within by Vallee Duhamel.

“NO MORE COMPETITION” by HOT KOWSKI is out now!

After the singles “Celli’s Angels”, “Sogno In Acqua” and “Pausa Pranzo”, Hot Kowski releases the final part of NO MORE COMPETITION.

The 6-tracks EP is an authentic response to contemporary social pressure centered on ambition, the desire to be the best, and the need to entertain.

It’s a club-oriented yet narrative record, expressing itself with energy and melancholy in shades reminiscent of English influences, but with the intention of describing a unique and sincere inner microcosm.

Hot Kowski’s new EP “No More Competition” is dropping next Friday on Funclab Records!

The EP features the previously released singles Celli’s Angels, Sogni In Acqua, and Pausa Pranzo.

Out January 24th

“Pausa Pranzo” by Hot Kowski is out now!

In recent years, Hot Kowski has been listening to a lot of jungle and drum ‘n’ bass, from Pete Cannon to Sully, from Coco Bryce to Special Request. He liked the idea of that energetic world meeting an almost emo sensibility. Pausa Pranzo is the result of this careful listening and passionate exploration.
The vocal samples are from a guy on TikTok doing a bathroom cover of Drake’s “Freestyle.”

This Thursday, “Pausa Pranzo”, Hot Kowski’s third single, will be released on Funclab Records.

“Sogno In Acqua” by Hot Kowski is out now!

It actually stems from the soundtrack of a short film he made with a great friend of his. It was 20 seconds of just piano, a terrible electric piano from the 80s. For him, the piano has always been a very fluid instrument; he had to describe, in the film, a person drowning in their own thoughts. From there, the idea was born to structure an entire piece that is extremely dreamlike and introvertedly energetic.

This Thursday, “Sogno In Acqua”, Hot Kowski’s second single, will be released on Funclab Records.

“Celli’s Angels” by Hot Kowski is out now!

A highly narrative and emotionally charged track for the dancefloor, with jungle breaks. The entire rhythmic section was conceived on a tracker, not out of vanity, but to delve deeper into that stylistic landscape, in order to discover its hidden aspects and make them part of his own identity. The title of the track is an Easter egg from his life.
