This is Floyd and he's available to take both you and himself on a walk any day, any time 🤪

We are recommending Floyd go to a home with no cats but he has done well with other dogs and kids in the past so bring the whole family in for a visit at our Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver!

This Memorial Day, we’re honoring heroes with waived adoption fees on adult pets (one year and older) for veterans, active military personnel, and Gold Star families at all three shelter locations from May 20th to 27th.

Lola got to go on a field trip this week and spent a little time outside of the shelter with volunteer Cindy! Lola is almost 2 years old and is ready for her new family to stop by and take her home. Want to know more about Lola's day out? Here's what Cindy had to say!

“Lola was wonderful today — easygoing, well behaved, and the perfect little lady! She did great in the car and hopped in and out on her own, especially enjoying the windows down and taking in all the sights and smells.

We visited two parks where she spent time walking around, sniffing, and relaxing outside. Lola was calm and walked nicely without much pulling throughout the day, and she seemed to really enjoy exploring all the new smells and scenery. At the parks, she handled a steady stream of people, dogs and bikes really well- observing them with interest and then moving along- and she was easy to redirect and keep moving forward when she did get excited about squirrels.

We also stopped at a coffee shop for a drink and a pup cup, and she was calm and relaxed while we waited outside. She knows “sit,” and is working on “stay”, and she does get a little jumpy with excitement, but she responds well to “down” and settles quickly when asked. We ended the outing relaxing by the lake while I finished my coffee. Lola happily sniffed around nearby and watched the birds.“

Are you ready to take Lola for a pup cup? Stop by our Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver and adopt her today!

Princess is a nervous girl who has been in our shelter for 2 months. She is sweet as can be even if she goes her own pace with warming up. She’s looking for a calm home without young kids (10+) where she can feel safe, respected, and loved.

If you think you and Princess are meant to be, stop by our Leslie A. Malone Center for a visit and take this girl home 🥹🥰

Meet Lola! This sweet (almost) 2 year old pup is a vibrant, fun-loving gal who is ready to find a family that matches her work hard, play hard energy! She's a BIG fan of play time and while a little shy, she's a pro at capturing hearts, like Shelter Veterinary Services team member Tessa!

"I fell in love with Lola the moment I saw her. She is such a special gal with a heart of gold! She is shy to start, but with patience, love, and some string cheese, she becomes your best friend! She has grown so much while in our care and has been the perfect playtime buddy (and snuggle bug). Lola also loves to give you plenty of kisses to make sure you know she loves you. Run don’t walk to adopt Lola!!"

Due to Lola's energy levels, we are recommending a home with children 10 years or older. We do think she could do well with other pups, so if you have a resident dog please bring them in for a visit! Interested in Lola? Stop by our Leslie A. Malone Center and see if she's the right fit for you 🥰

Trixie is still learning the ropes of indoor life, but she’s catching on more every day 🏡💛 She just wants to be close to her people—snuggled up, soaking in affection, and giving it right back.

She absolutely loves cuddling and affection, and our animal care team is totally in love with her 🥹💛 She loves chicken treats and is as soft as a chinchilla!

Trixie may do well with another social dog, but she’s looking for a home without small kids so she can settle in at her own pace and feel safe while she learns.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving shadow of a dog who just wants to be by your side… Trixie might be your girl 💛

Humane Colorado cares for over 47,000 pets each year, providing them with a safe space, tailored behavioral support, specialized veterinary care, and essential nourishment thanks in part to the ongoing support of @HillsPet's Food, Shelter, & Love program, which provides science-led nutrition to feed the pets in our care, and at more than 1000 other shelters across North America.

To keep the transition from shelter to home a bit easier, each dog and cat who is adopted from us is provided with a bag of the very same Hill's Science Diet we feed here at Humane Colorado! Because nutrition matters as much to our furry friends as it does to us, we want to start each happy ending with our best paws forward 🐾 #HillsFoodShelterLove #HillsTransformingLives #HillsPartner

Don’t let kennel behavior fool you 🐾

Shelter life is loud, stressful, and overwhelming 😔—and some dogs cope by barking or reacting. But that’s not who they are outside of it. Give them a chance to decompress, and you’ll see their true selves ✨

Kovu has already proven that 💛 In a foster home, he was everything you’d want—housetrained ✔️ social ✔️ sweet ✔️ mellow ✔️ affectionate ✔️ with great manners and solid basic commands 👏

He’s looking for a home without young kids or cats, and someone willing to see past the kennel and into the dog he really is 🥹🐶🤍

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
