Exactly one year ago I was driving home from @holleylsfest and I had a lifter failure. In the past year I’ve been slowly getting the car back to where it was and now it’s better. Along the way the car community linked me up with @boostline_performance who build one amazing ls388 packed with a @magnusonsuperchargers heartbeat that just runs but more importantly you could daily drive it. @briantooleyracing and @mmsolutions helped me figure out that you want to pull vacuum from the front of the valve covers whenever possible to eliminate potential oil vacuum issues. @carnage_racing_development for dialing in the tune where it just flat out starts and runs perfectly under every condition. Maybe a standalone and 8hp70 is in my near future? @detroitspeed for building a suspension that can drag race, autocross, road course, and drive on the street. I won’t bash another business but comparing amd to another brand was night and day from a paint and finish stand point. They won my business over. After having some troubles on sat with an oiled maf, we were able to clean it up for some Sunday road course runs @g2motorsportspark .98% of the bugs were worked out to rip on the back straight at 131mph. I cant tell you how much fun that was. Being that my family was waiting on me to pack and head to Florida I left shortly before the awards to not only realize I left the transponder on my car but also to get a phone call from @jerryyost2021 .Low and behold it wasn’t Jerry it was jimmy day who informed me that I won the spirt of the event award and an invite to @sema_association to race my car in Vegas.
