❤️‍🔥EXHIBITION ALERT❤️‍🔥

In an era when algorithms loop through our daily lives, fragment our attention, and dictate what counts as presence, this exhibition asks: How do we reclaim both time and relation from the algorithmic forces shaping our world? How can art open portals to alternative temporalities and coalitional worlds beyond AI, and imagine futures otherwise?

Opening April 24th at @ifa.de gallery in Stuttgart, we bring together the artistic research and collective experiments of two residencies, and shows the works of the residents hiba ali, Zainab Aliyu, Mac Andre Arboleda, biarritzzz, Guilherme Bretas, Maithu Bùi, Noam Youngrak Son, and Kira Xonorika.

The artworks unfold across digital and embodied spaces through sound, video, AI-generated imagery, speculative frameworks, digital spreadsheets, virtual reality, and archival intervention, offering counter-imaginaries that defy both accelerationist and extractivist logics.

The residencies behind this exhibition unraveled through dialogue, exchange, mentorship, and collaborative experimentation. They were developed in collaboration with @ifa.de , @ifa.visualarts @kampnagel_hamburg @deichtorhallenhamburg , with additional support from the @goetheinstitut_barcelona
Mentorship was offered by Idil Galip, Neema Githere, Petja Ivanova, Vanessa A. Opoku, Xin Xin, Anasuya Sengupta, and allapopp

Production & co-curation: Ulla Heinrich @lexivoid

Now open: the German Pavilion at the Venice Bienniale 2026!

In Ruin, @sungtieu and @henrikenaumann present newly commissioned works that draw on their research into the GDR and the post-reunification period. Their practices trace how political, social, and architectural ruptures continue to shape the present.

ARE YOU FOR REAL?
After years as a digital constellation, “Are You For Real: Cosmotechnics, Counterfictions, and the Art of Worldbuilding” by ifa – Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen has now taken physical form – currently on view in Montevideo. 🇺🇾

Blending virtual infrastructures with speculative futures and mythological resistance, the exhibition brings together art, technology, and magic to question the idea of “reality.” Across six clusters, it traces how digital worlds are entangled with planetary systems, and how they might help us imagine new futures beyond the human.

Unfolding across three institutions, this marks the beginning of a multi-year exhibition journey across the Americas.
Now on view at:
📍 Espacio de Arte Contemporáneo
📍 Museo de Artes Decorativas – Palacio Taranco
📍 Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales

In collaboration with @goetheinstitut_uruguay
Language: Spanish

Discover it across three museums in Montevideo! Not in Uruguay? Check out the online platform to explore the project’s digital origins!

On World Book Day, we’re thinking about the many ways books move across borders carrying stories and perspectives with them. 📚

Swipe through for a small selection from our reading list and tab the link in our profile for more information:

▪️Spheres of Interest, published by DISTANZ Verlag, developed through exhibitions at ifa Galleries and reflecting on the ifa art collection and its global exhibition histories
▪️The Event of a Thread, published by ifa, highlights the significance of textiles in contemporary art, linking personal and aesthetic narratives to the social and economic structures of a globalised world.
▪️Vielfalt, by Morgane Llanque, Droemer Verlag, is a world history told through the lens of marginalised peoples. From female hunters in the Stone Age to queer emperors and disabled pirates, their stories challenge current historical narratives about patriarchy and white supremacy
▪️Wanderings About History. The Photography of Ulrich Wüst, Spector Books, presents Wüst’s precise photographic observations of urban spaces in the GDR and Eastern Germany, revealing war damage, architectural decay and everyday absurdities as quiet, non‑ideological reflections on social change
▪️How to Love a Homeland, by Oxana Timofeeva, Matthes & Seitz, a key reference point for ifa’s exhibition programme on belonging, displacement, and solidarity.
▪️The Culture of Democracy by Bin Xu, a conceptual study of democracy in its cultural and social dimensions, engaging with one of the ifa Library’s core thematic focuses.

What are you reading right now? Let us know in the comments and if you’re in Stuttgart, drop by the ifa Library to find your next read.

What if fashion is a cultural seismograph that anticipates social shifts?

Curator @lotfi_aoulad asks this question in the exhibition 'Diaspora Wonderland. Fashioning Worlds', bringing together five artists whose work explores diasporic perspectives through fashion.

The exhibition is in collaboration with @dasrelais, founded by @lotfi_aoulad, creating connections between the arts, communities and wellbeing.

'Diaspora Wonderland' brings together a generation of artists from Afro-Mediterranean diasporas, exploring identity, memory and belonging through the language of fashion.

The works presented share a common ground: the stories of countries left behind, family intimacy, the traces of exile, inherited know-how and the images that arise from fragmented memories.

💌 The exhibition is on view until 07.06.26, with two exciting events coming up soon—subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
