Valeria @valeriiiaaaaa is a music producer and multimedia artist. Exploring sound as a form of touch, they are interested in the transformative power of sound, particularly the emotional potential of electronic music - how it can make us feel things that can’t be felt otherwise, or that we didn’t know were within us; how we can use technology to express what is deeply human.

Ffion @ffioncampbelldavies is a multidisciplinary artist, Born and raised in Wales based in London. A qigong practitioner and vocalist, also working with film, sound design and visual art, bringing holistic modalities into performance and ritual.

Excited to have @nakhla.iz performing at In Touch this Saturday at @avaloncafebermondsey, 7:30pm-1am.

For In-Touch, I. Nakhla will perform a live mashup of their audio research on the rise of women’s football – featuring body cam audio of Sam Kerr’s legal dispute, iconic Arsenal chants, dirty electronic beats, and of course melancholic folk music.

Next up are Sunni and Armando who will be sharing a live AV set this Saturday at In Touch.

@sunni0o is a creative technologist and audiovisual artist whose work focuses on the essential characteristics of graphics and sound by means of mathematical precision and aesthetics.

@agonzalezsosto is a musician, sound engineer, and computer programmer.

Next in our artists announcement for In Touch are Katie Tindle and Megan Bates, who have collaborated on an experimental non-linear film dealing with sensuality, pornography, technological accellerationism and solutionism.

Megan Bates @herdofsheep is a multi-disciplinary artist working in London. She also works as a software developer in climate-focussed energy systems modelling at transition zero.

She uses her experience as a physicist and software developer to create works using scientific mediums such as programming, electronics, and 3D-modelling, alongside more traditional materials. Her work primarily reflects on our relationship with technology, through feminism, environmentalism, and the philosophy of science.

Rebecca Aston & Hazel Ryan @capitolhmr will be scraping and scratching some textures using witchy wearables for In-cognito at @ormsideprojects tonight.

This performance is part of an ongoing collaborative exploration of the sonic properties of texture.

Tomorrow night, @valeriiiaaaaa will be sharing a sound performance entitled ‘dream-seeds’ as part of our AV event, In-cognito at @ormsideprojects.

‘Moving through my personal experience of seeking connection in the information age, reflecting on my habits of consumption and codependent relationship with systems of living that are at their core destructive. Tugging at the threads of alternative paths, calling in something new through rooting into the earth, connecting to wildness, embodying being ungovernable, embracing the wholeness of being. The ruins of empire - compost for our dream-seeds.’
