Can you trust a photograph? 📸

Long before Photoshop became mainstream, Inez & Vinoodh were already blurring the line between reality and fiction. Using early digital tools like Quantel Paintbox, they created images that look real but are carefully constructed. 

Their process builds meaning layer by layer, shaping a controlled version of reality. Drawing from fashion, advertising, and mass media, they reflect on how images persuade us. 

Their work connects to Pop Art, not by copying, but by critically reworking its visual language. 
Everything appears believable, yet something subtly resists certainty.
