I’m at it again on the @instudioarchive YouTube… talkin while I paint.

I thought YouTube was ass at first, but the more I started researching and understanding the community and how supportive it actually is, I decided to dedicate real time to documenting my process in motion.

I’ve learned people like the story of the piece just as much as the piece. And the Gemini in me doesn’t mind talking, so I doubled down on creating a platform for people like me who really nerd out on art, music, forms, colors, and new technology.

I’m back with @instudioarchive’s YouTube discussing my impulsiveness in painting over all my old shit and starting fresh! IN-Studio TV is my art and event based platform dedicated to the conversation we all have behind art.

This isn’t a normal mix—it’s a constant flow.

On a regular day in the studio, I’m always playing music. People always say, “just play a playlist,” but honestly, I’m against playlists. I don’t think I can ever truly curate a blend of songs I want to hear in the moment. I’m constantly jumping around—30 seconds into a track, switching it up. I like the movement, the constant stimulus of new sounds.

That’s really where DJing while I’m painting began. From there, it slowly evolved into a normal practice—actually painting and DJing at the same time.
