Sunrise I didn’t want to end.

There’s something humbling about watching the first light spill over layers of history and mountains. It felt quiet, slow, and more meaningful than I expected, like the kind of moment you just sit with.

I reached Punthuk Setumbu before dawn, camera in hand, standing in the cold with other sunrise chasers, all waiting in near silence. No one really spoke, like we were all trying not to break the stillness.

Then everything slowly came to life - sun rising behind Mount Merapi in the distance, the soft morning mist, and Borobudur Temple revealing itself bit by bit. Each click felt instinctive, like I was trying to hold onto something fleeting. And it reminded me why I keep coming back to places like this, chasing moments that can’t be repeated.

If you’re ever in Yogyakarta, I’d really recommend joining a sunrise tour to catch the view from Punthuk Setumbu. It’s simple, peaceful, and something that stays with you long after you leave.

Locals call it the Heaven’s Light.

Rappelling 60m down into the cave already felt like an adventure on its own. It’s dark, quiet, and you don’t really know what to expect.

Then suddenly, in the far end of the dark and muddy tunnel, light breaks through from above. It’s one of those moments where you just stop and stare for a bit before even thinking about photos.

I stood there longer than I expected, watching the beams shift and dance. Took a few shots here and there, but honestly photos just don’t do this justice.

Jomblang Cave in Yogyakarta is known for its β€œheaven’s light,” where sun rays pierce through the cave opening only from 10am - 12pm. Only guided tours allowed for safety reasons.

Chasing sakura in Kawagoe, Saitama 🌸

What was meant to be a quick day trip from Tokyo last April turned into a 3-hour adventure after I couldn’t find the right bus transfer at Kawagoe Station. I came to take one photo in mind - the little boat drifting under the cherry blossoms at Shingashi River.

But because of the delay, I almost missed the last boat at 3pm… but somehow made it just in time to photograph the final two boats of the day. And it was gorgeous! Swipe to the end to see the photos.

Ended the afternoon with a slow stroll along the river, soaking in the sakura and the quiet rhythm of everyday life in Japan. Less touristy than Tokyo, and just as magical. 🌸

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
