Celebrating 20 Years of Heavy HK. Here comes the Big Boss in Sound System culture: "IRATION STEPPAS” - Vanguard of Dub. Performing a 2 hours set, from Roots and Culture Reggae to his famous Year 3000 style, on the brand new Heavy HK Sound System. Supported by local legends like Mousefx and Steffunn.

Seeing Iration live is always a treat, but hearing him play on his own sound is something different.
We thought we were ready for last Saturday but we were not. From anthem tunes till heavy Dubplates we got it all in a real year 3000 Style.

Going back to the last month’s residency in @clubcontrol, we look at@irationsteppas’ 3-hour sound journey, playing lots of dubplates that shaped along the years the moniker of Vangurad of Dub.

Per primera vegada a Mallorca tenim el plaer de poder convidar a un dels nostres artistes referència; Iration Steppas.

Iration Steppas Sound System és la pedra angular de l’escena underground de la bass music de West Yorkshire. Mark Iration i Dennis Rootikal es van conèixer a principis de la dècada de 1990, quan la cultura dels sound systems estava canviant i la música evolucionava. Aquesta col·laboració va donar lloc al desenvolupament de l’estil més avantguardista de reggae i dub, que ha inspirat a tota una generació de nous sound systems i productors de dub, com O.B.F, King Alpha, Dubkasm i molts més. També va deixar empremta en altres gèneres, amb molts altres grans noms que es van veure influenciats pel líder Mark Iration.

Durant els últims 30 anys, Iration Steppas ha ampliat els límits de la tecnologia dels sistemes de so, millorant contínuament per a mantenir-se en el cim del seu joc, i ha reunit possiblement la major col·lecció de dub-plates i especials de qualsevol sistema de so. Mark (Iration Steppas) és un artista que ofereix una experiència que no trobaràs en cap altre lloc i que no voldràs perdre’t.

Iration Steppas ha construït una discografia de la qual s’enorgulleix amb àlbums com a Original Dub D.A.T., Dubs from the High Regionz i Dub Sorra, així com nombrosos senzills, i tots continuen venent-se en grans quantitats a tot el món.

Iration sonarà en l’escenari exterior a partir de les #22:00 al costat del so King Mufasa, el tremolor illenc, acompanyat per tota la seva crew.

En l’escenari interior estarà Selenik soundsystem amb els germans crespi mà a mà amb Cor de Bou.

Una cita imperdible per a l’escena soundsystem illenca. No deixis que t’ho expliquin.
