Directed by Thea Gajic, SURVIVING EARTH follows a Yugoslav refugee and gifted harmonica player rebuilding his life in Bristol. As he forms a vibrant Balkan band and begins to find a sense of belonging, the unresolved trauma of his past resurfaces, straining his relationships and threatening the fragile bond he shares with his daughter. It’s a story of resilience, identity, and the uneasy balance between healing and memory. SURVIVING EARTH is now in theatres across the UK.

The Night Manager Series 2 starts tonight, with the first two episodes available on iPlayer. What a journey it was - with a lot of hard work from a lot of people! Once again behind the time posting! @survivingearthfilm had its uk premiere @edfilmfest last weekend and its world premiere @sxsw earlier this year. I’m super proud of the film and all the amazing team involved. Thank you to @theagajic for trusting me - you wrote and directed with such poise, wisdom and sensitivity and were pure joy to work with. I will be forever grateful to you and our producers @sophitapophita and @al.bilic for believing we could make this special film and still be there for our young families 🩷
