Back in March, I took a trip to Hudson, New York and spent the day with furniture designer and founder of @jackrabbitstudio Brett Miller. What started as a video project quickly stretched beyond that. We talked about passion, feeling, failure, instinct, and the strange beauty of not fully knowing where you’re headed.

Thank you Brett, for allowing me into your personal space and into your mind. Moments like this remind me of the true purpose behind my work: stepping into other people’s worlds and leaving with wisdom I’ll carry with me. Grateful to share a small piece of it here.

Had the pleasure recently of talking design and inspiration with @jasonmillerstudio and @bubbiechris @pilgrimsurfsupply for @rollandhill ‘s new video series Small Talks.

Had this album on repeat in the studio in Baja where I made this wall piece. Late nights in the studio with @rosendoramos8782 filled with cigarettes and cerveza and music, lots of music. It was a beautiful time. It’s a special piece made in a special place. So grateful for my time south of the border and the Ramos family for letting me take over their workshop for a couple months.

After spending time in the Hudson Valley, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with artists whose work feels both timeless and deeply personal.

I’m beginning to offer selected works by a handful of these artists who are people I admire not only for their craft but also for their character.
