Last year we went to Alaska to document a 4th of July tradition where people decorate cars, drive from all corners of the US, and launch them straight off a cliff, all surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen.

Subsequently we managed to capture a human phenomenon of total destruction, catharsis and spectacle in the name of celebration.

As one of my first longer real documentary pieces, it was a reminder to put the experience and the curiosity first and what came from that is a film that, thanks to the incredible team that worked on it, feels like a special piece.

Thanks to all who came to the private view it was a real pleasure to share this in real life at such an incredible cinema .
