my whole childhood… I spent moving around. From Korea to the US, to Germany, I’m very grateful for all I got to see and the languages and cultures I got to learn and experience, I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. But there was one part of me that always always longed for a stable home. At one point I started calling myself citizen of the world 🥹because I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere 100%. Too Korean to be considered German and too western to feel Korean? I felt like I was always different? And because I moved around so much as a kid I never felt like “oh this is my home” for an apartment or a house. So as I got older, I longed for a place “home” I get to travel so much and see so much but I wanted my own space. A beautiful home that I can call MINE, a place I could theoretically stay in FOREVER and no one can tell me “you have to move in two weeks” haha. So the first thing I did - I bought my own apartment October 2024. I’m so LUCKY AND GRATEFUL I get the privilege to do that. And yes I am a Taurus, I love BEAUTIFUL things and spaces so I wanted everything to be PERFECT!! I wanted my dream walk in closet, I wanted my shoe closet and I thought when will I ever be able to make the biggest space my CLOSET!!!
