PLEASUREDOME X TRANSFORM FESTIVAL – DOOMSDAY DISCO

As the remnants of civilisation burn and the vultures begin to circle, we hunker down in the industrial sanctuary of Testbed for a night of queer hedonism and artistic experimentation. We have teamed up with cultural powerhouse @transform_leeds to deliver a night like no other. On Saturday 25th October, expect a lineup of our incredible, local DJs intermingled with gender-defying, live performances brought to you by the superb team of forward-thinkers at Transform.

Our top team of aural scientists comprises of leading jazz-fusion researcher @joehelldj of the @lift_your_feet division; sound system afficionado and beat synthesist BOSSdaddy @cocopopkid from the @c0smicsl0p laboratories; and sonic healer, Day Dot @orlaw0lf, of the underground queer resistance fighters @lickquidgold_, armed with her deadliest, dancefloor weaponry to close off the night. All the while our most dazzling performers will slither, dangle, and unfurl around the dancefloor in a bid to awaken your senses and to change your expectations of what a club night can be.

The end is nigh; let’s dance!

As always, profits made from our parties go towards our fundraiser for a new, permanent, event space for the queer community in Leeds. We are currently collating evidence to apply for funding and grants over the course of the next six to eight months. While fundraising so far has been steady, we have demonstrated that we can run ambitious, quality club nights with affordable bar prices and pay our staff significantly higher than living wage rates. Your donations of money and time towards the project have played a huge part in our success so far, so big up to everyone who has helped out.

It’s been a super fabulous year, putting on parties with selectors we never thought we’d be booking so early in our journey 😮
