Our first cover star for our Spring/Summer 2026 issue is none other than the iconoclastic Prince.

Marking 10 years since he struck his last purple-laden chord, we are going all in on the flamboyant musical genius.

Across four (Four! Count ‘em!) features and 24 pages we examine Prince’s colourful and unique legacy through the lens of electronic dance music. Featuring contributions from the likes of Kevin Saunderson, Jamie Principle, Mark Moore, Hifi Sean, Alexis Taylor and more, we assess the debt that artists across every genre from techno and house to hip hop and drum’n’bass owe to the man from Minneapolis.

Kate Hutchinson speaks to those who fell under Prince’s spell early on; Joe Muggs celebrates his Imperial Phase; Simon Price picks 30 gems from his later years and Balearic Mike heads right to the heart of the dancefloor with a selection of choice of edits and remixes.
