I’ve been milking this song for about a year now but it’s given me a lot of cool opportunities and memories! I got to teach this piece for V3 auditions and GI workshop, the original video got reuploaded on the original artist’s IG page, I got to be a backup dancer for said artist’s concert, and I got to make a fun dance video with friends to immortalize this piece in 4K! Raised $20,335 to make a fan film from my childhood game. Really wanted to push myself in the animation process and learn about action filmmaking! I started this project back in 2021 during quarantine (hence the masks you’ll spot throughout!) and really wanted to push myself—learning animation, fight choreography, and action filmmaking from the ground up.

This was my first time choreographing a full fight scene, and one of the biggest lessons I learned is that actions speak louder than words. The way a character moves can reveal just as much about what they feel or believe as any line of dialogue.

Thoughts on how I did and any ideas on how I can improve?
