Put together my first cinematography reel. Last June, after years and years of debating and doubting, I finally decided to pursue film full time. I can’t say that the journey has been smooth sailing. A lot of days are filled with worry as struggles with money starts to creep in. However, it’s moments like creating my reel that I realize that this is really where I want to be and where I find fulfillment in my work. I’m so grateful to everyone I’ve met up to this point and for everyone who’s kept me from giving up. Here’s to another year of new projects, new friends, and more movie magic

It’s amazing how differently you view a video when watching it months and years after editing.Idk if anyone else relates but when I edit, I feel like I’m the worst filmmaker in the world, but when watching it later down the line like I did tonight, I think “huh that’s pretty good”. Learning to show more grace to my work and learning to love the process.

A big part of who I am as a filmmaker and artist comes from the experiences from V3 and the people who I met through this team. Sad that my time with this team is over, but thankful that the memories and friendships made here are timeless.

One of the most unique and challenging projects I’ve ever worked on. It was one of those shoots that pushed me to get better and go beyond my current skillset and knowledge. Working with the RED system, car mounts, a moving set were all new things to me but extremely thankful for the crew that helped me throughout this entire process. Been having a lot of doubts about myself and my abilities as a filmmaker, but reflecting on projects like this makes me hopeful that even if I’m not where I want to be yet, with the right people and right motivation, it’s possible
