After three years of production, we’re almost at release day for the new YIMES album YY! This video is a compilation of footage from every recording session along the way. Welcome to our music film! Bring Your Own Blanket - Ambient Night is a new film directed by @philipcarrel sharing the story of a collaborative musical experience in Detroit. In a world where music is treated as a commodity and concerts demand a certain type of exchange, we have been rethinking the model. What if there is no band, no set list, no song? Just presence. The film explores what ambient music is, why we’re making it, and hopefully inspire more ambient music events in the future. Presented by @saltbreakermusic who is a proud member of the @atmosphericmusicalliance

Happy release day to @hayden.mp3 - his first full length record is out today! It was so cool meeting him this past winter in Seattle, super inspired, energized, beautiful songwriter and helped me reawaken my love for songwriting(I’ve written several new songs since meeting!)! His songs are deep and thoughtful, poetic and melancholy. Huge props to the team effort that went into make these recordings, they’ve been heavy on my rotation.
