@naturalselectionbike this year was a roller coaster for me. I got to New Zealand with 1 goal in mind: To perform like I know I can and get on that podium.

The week before the event was full of trainning and good riding. I was feeling amazing on my bike. During practice, I felt I was riding and progresing my riding like never before. I was feeling solid, confident and really smooth. I did the biggest 360 drops I’d ever done and was feelign amazing for finals.

Run 1 went really good for me, did everything I wanted and landed everything really smooth.

Run 2 was going well until I messed up on something I had done 30 times in practice. It was just a stupid mistake that fucked up my entire score. I was really dissappinted and sad to be honest. But when I got to the bottom and saw my friends there ready to support me and cheer me up, things changed.

I ended this event being super proud of myself. I elevated my riding and did exactly what I wanted. Mistakes are part of this sport and I can’t wait to be back next year for redemption.
