Jonah Haber
toronto & la based director.

A little over a year ago, We Were was officially greenlit. What began as a small passion project idea during a walk in the fall of 2023 became so much more by the following summer. A project like this reminds me why I chose to pursue film in the first place—to tell stories that are both personal and meaningful to me, and to create them alongside my friends.
Somehow (and I still don’t even know how we pulled it off), we managed to shoot over 35 scenes across five chaotic days, enduring some of the wildest production hurdles I’ve ever experienced—including raccoons having seizures, literal historic flooding, pepper spray, a chemical safety quarantine from the fire department, and a whole lot of location changes.
I’m so immensely grateful to everyone who believed in this project, said yes to making art, and helped bring it to life. I’m incredibly proud of what we were able to achieve. It’s been a journey getting here, and I’m beyond excited to finally share We Were.

No words to express how crazy it is to see that the video I directed for @tinashenow’s Nasty was just nominated for a VMA in the “Best Trending Video” Category.
Thank you so so much to @tinashenow, @francfernandez, @simonnegabrielle, @jojogomezxo, @maleeka.moss and the rest of the Tinashe team for bringing me on and letting me be a part of this moment.
Thank you to @galileomondol, @myfriendlopes, @bt.studios, @larkcreative, @cheyennecody for all of the support in bringing this project to life. So many people to thank, full credits on YouTube.

Thrilled to finally be able to share the video I directed for @tatemcrae’s performance of Slower on @jimmykimmel. Back in 2017 Tate released a song called One Day. My goal was to pay homage to that little video that catapulted Tate to the icon she is today. Little did I know how much work and the sheer number of hours that would be required to bring that vision to life and man oh man am I ever proud of the results and the amazing team that accomplished them.
This was the most ambitious project I’ve conceptualized to date and I’m so grateful to the people that made it happen. It’s still really surreal seeing this concept go from a little foamcore model I made in my basement to the stills you see here. From constructing massive arches (@hopelittle) to building, designing, and rigging (@congobluekid) a set with over 80 lighting fixtures, a lot of things had to line up for this to work out. Sebastien, Sahil, Dennis, Gideon, Hope, Sabrina, Michelle, Tate and everyone else who stood behind this project through it all, thank you. link in bio

From constructing massive arches (@hopelittle) to building, designing, and rigging (@congobluekid) a set with over 80 lighting fixtures, a lot of things had to line up for this to work out. Sebastien, Sahil, Dennis, Gideon, Hope, Sabrina, Michelle, Tate and everyone else who stood behind this project through it all, thank you. link in bio

An exciting one came out today for Netflix, “See U In Hell” by @paparoach ft. @hanumankind!
As a huge fan of DMC’s first season, it was really such a privilege being tapped to direct the music video for the second season’s title original song. The focus here was to create a video that was authentic to the world of the anime while still feeling true to the amazing performances of Papa Roach and HMK. We really threw everything at this: projection mapping, pyro, drone spotlights, and huge CG world building.
Thank you to the @bt.studios team for producing this crazy project, to both artists for making a grueling overnight rooftop shoot work and keeping the energy in every take (extra shout out to HMK and Ashish for coming all the way from India!!), to Team Netflix for trusting us to pull this creative off and being such amazing collaborators throughout the process, and to @bootleguniverse for creating such a visceral, high-octane animation experience and world in DMC S2, it was a joy getting to adapt your work into a live action/music video world!

I’m so stoked to share the Space Potatoes campaign I directed for @wendys! It’s been a career long dream to work on a project fully reliant on miniatures and a primarily practical approach and I’m so grateful to the Wendy’s and McCann team for going along with this idea and supporting it! Truly was a labour of love.
This was the result of a lot of effort and passion from a very small but dedicated team. Huge thanks to DP @jonglendon, PD @diallakawar, Miniature Artist @justinpoulsenvisuals, VFX team led by @vitaliyhavrylyuk, and of course, EP and Producer @travwood at OMC Productions. Not only did he produce this thing, but this was the first of many Travis acting cameos in our projects together. Can’t imagine a better astronaut tbh
Huge shout out to @spstudioscanada as well, wouldn’t have been possible without them!
This project required so much trust from Travis and the creative team at McCann and I am endlessly indebted to him for his push to get this concept approved.

Excited to share the latest broadcast campaign I directed for ETFO.
It’s so refreshing to be able to dive into a campaign with such an important message and shout out to all the unions out there fighting for the rights of their members. I’m incredibly grateful to the team at NOW Group for the opportunity. Thanks to Julian for seeing this project through with me through the endless hurdles and speed bumps. So stoked it’s now in the world.

Fun new one for @wendys - Frosty Farms!
Had a blast shooting this last month in Calgary along with a small but mighty team. Somehow dodged extreme thunderstorms and hail for the perfect summer day. Huge thanks to Travis and Vitaliy for both going above and beyond and being the reasons this project was possible. Full credits below.

Had a blast shooting this last month in Calgary along with a small but mighty team. Somehow dodged extreme thunderstorms and hail for the perfect summer day. Huge thanks to Travis and Vitaliy for both going above and beyond and being the reasons this project was possible. Full credits below.

@sudanarchives - DEAD Music Video
This is my favourite song of 2025, and I still can’t believe we got to make a video for it. Huge thanks to Sudan and @lexilexicarr for trusting us with this project and being such incredible collaborators.
This was truly a grassroots effort—from @carina.mak and me soldering laser diodes during prelight and building a laser box out of Amazon parts, to @quaidcdebaca debuting his 13-foot-tall Steadicam, to @savaterehoff pulling triple duty as our LM, PD, and lighting board op. There were so many moments when we weren’t sure it would come together, and yet, here we are.
Massive gratitude to @6degreesfilms, @carina.mak, and @griffindistefano for saying yes to what felt like an impossible ask and rolling with every curveball in the days and weeks leading up to the shoot. Nick and Bianca made magic happen in the edit and Thanks to the lad @adammadrzyk for the commitment and beautiful cine—and of course, to @cheyennecody and @larkcreative for making it all happen once again!

𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙠 / We Were
“We Were” follows David from childhood to adulthood, tracing relationships and moments across three stages of his life. In 2007, a young David forms a sweet summer camp bond with Janelle, saving mementos from their camp days together in his memory box. As the years pass, David experiences first love with his high school sweetheart, Amy, and eventually navigates heartbreak and the complexities of adult relationships with Mia. Throughout, David adds to his memory box, collecting tokens from his past — symbols of how love, although fickle, will always find a way back into his life again.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
