📍 Philly | Music to move you 🌲
I think I know the real reason raves were pushed underground in the 90s …

Friday’s show with @shamir326 was a real special one. Our paths diverged 10 years ago when I attended their On the Regular music video shoot in New York, and reconnected this summer when we randomly ran into each other at Porchfest in West Philly. In the span of just a few short months we’ve explored a lot of new sonic territory that I think has pleasantly surprised us both—somewhere between house music and pop/hyperpop—and we got to share our tunes for the first time this Friday. What an awesome time. We’ve got a lot more music on the way and can’t wait for you to hear it.
And just as a side note this was my first time playing a Live set on Ableton since Kirsten and I moved to Philly from Seattle 2 years ago, and I have to say I forgot how much fun it is, I really missed the improvisational freedom it offers and I’m definitely hoping to do more of these in the future.
Huge thank you to @zachatom and @vika.kobza for the videos!

🚨 SHOW ALERT🚨 Over the last few months my friend @shamir326 and I have been exploring some new musical territory—Shamir’s pushed my sound in a more pop/hyperpop direction and I’ve pushed Shamir’s sound in a dancier direction. We’ve met somewhere in the middle and we’re really excited about the tracks we’ve made so far—they feel like something fresh and new for both of us. If you’re curious what that sounds like we’re gonna play a short set on 11/22 at @ortliebsphilly in Northern Liberties with @gartenhead & @ttttband . I haven’t been able to venture out much since I became a father so it’d be extra neat to see you all there and reconnect :) details are on the flier!

Maybe the real bangers are the friends we made along the way ;) The last year has been marked by major life events for both of us. @zachatom got married and @jonalpine became a father. We tried to capture the frenetic energy of a year blowing by at warp speed on our new track Hurry Up and Enjoy, out today.

It was March 4th of this year (my birthday) when I sat down to make something new. My wife @kirstenwiens was 5 months pregnant and thoughts of the future with our child, my impending fatherhood, and reflections on my own childhood were all running through my mind.
Birthday Song, the track that came out of that session, is out today. Ordinarily on release days I have a video edited and ready to go, but I haven’t had the time lately because a little more than a week ago Kirsten and I welcomed our son into the world ❤️ It’s been a whirlwind of late nights, diaper changes, and existential joy. We’re beyond grateful for all the love and support that’s been sent our way.
The album art for Birthday Song is on the 3rd slide, a photo of me (at center) with my two brothers Jeremy and Kevin from years and years ago. It feels appropriate somehow to be reflecting back on my own childhood while at the same time embarking on this new journey into parenthood, so I dusted off a photo album and dug up some old birthday photos :)

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
