For the last 16 months I have put everything into this, as I've wrote, I've laughed, I cried, I've revisited old pains & feelings and what I've learnt from it.

I often get asked

"Jono, are people more accepting these days?"

And it's always a hard one to answer and it changes when I see what's going on around me day to day.

Overall kids are great. Curious but once they know, they are happy.

Teenagers, they're sound, often trying to find themselves so they get it.

Adults, overall yes, but the few, they can just ruin it all in a single moment and faith in humanity can be lost.

Later on today, tomorrow, next week you can change someone's life in a single moment, I beg of you - be kind.

Wearing the beer and fake tan stained T-Shirt that I wore back in the day at Reflex.

I ❤️80's

Its face equality week this week and i want to start on a positive experience that I have.

I hope and pray that going forward that people living with visible differences can experience their own epic moments too when out and about doing things that they love.

From 11-15 May 2026 we will be shining a light on the experiences of the facial difference community in hospitality and retail settings; such as restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

More to come through the week, and just a heads up,it's not all positive 😪💔

I visted 2 secondary schools in Guernsey to talk about life and the pressures put on us all to act, look and be a certain way.

Upon that visit I met a group of students who had createdsome incredible portraits of people living with visible differences.

For a moment we spoke about art and they shared how they created their masterpieces, but then one student shared that they understood how it feels to feel like that you don't belong, another student got upset as they felt it too, we shared stories way beyond art, we spoke about not knowing our birth parents, life living with additional needs and so much more.

I hope in this moment,that they felt seen and heard just as much as I did.

You all make the world a better place.

Be kikd to others and most importantly, be kind to yourself.
