I recently cut an editing showreel. As I was looking at all of my work packed into a single timeline I got to thinking about where my work, and work for creatives in general, will be in 10 years. Obviously, my mind then bolted to the topic of the day, AI, and I had a mini breakdown. Then I started to look through the work again. Three main topics came through. Beauty, Nature and Humans.

These are the things that know will go on being. Being wondrous.

Product photography has always been in my wheelhouse, but photographing an F4 car was a step up in terms of the challenge of lighting. Reflective surfaces. Lots of reflective surfaces. I'm very proud of the outcome.

Part of a 5 day shoot, we welcomed Macie, family and Storm Motorsport into the studio along with the F4 car she is taking into testing this year.

To see it roll onto our infinity cove and into the space we opened 6 months ago was surreal. "Cool" doesn't cut it.

New levels with this project 😍 and a whole load more content to come 🎬

I recently got my hands on the DJI Osmo Mini, and it's been really fun to play with. I don't think it will be incorporated too much into my professional workflow, but for social content and BTS videos, it's going to be a bit of a game-changer. The speed at which you can set up a shot, shoot it and move onto the next is brilliant. It's lightweight, creates footage that is very capable for phone viewing, and it's seemingly pretty bulletproof.

I'm going to be wearing it on most of my shoots from now on to capture the making-of process.
